Install in three steps

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin and choose kanbanwp.zip. You can also unzip it into /wp-content/plugins/kanbanwp.
  2. Click Activate.
  3. Open KanbanWP, Boards in the admin menu and create your first board.

The full walkthrough is in Installation. After that, your first board takes a few minutes.

Before you install

  • Your data stays in your own WordPress database.
  • AI and MCP are optional and off until you configure them. AI uses your own provider key.
  • If you used the old “Kanban for WordPress” plugin, KanbanWP is a separate plugin. See the FAQ and the import guide.

Download the newest zip from this page and install it over the existing plugin. See the changelog for what changed in each version.
