The Reports screen gives you a quick read on one board at a time: how much work there is, what is late, who is carrying it and how work has moved between stages. It is built from the tasks and activity already on the board, so there is nothing to configure.
Open Reports
Go to KanbanWP > Reports. The screen needs the KanbanWP manage permission, and it only lists boards you are allowed to view.
Use the Board drop-down at the top to switch boards. The page reloads for the board you pick.
Overview
The Overview section shows a row of cards:
| Card | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Total tasks | All tasks on the board. |
| Overdue | Open tasks whose due date is before today. |
| Due this week | Open tasks due within the next seven days. |
| Completed this week | Tasks completed in the last seven days. |
| Avg cycle time (days) | Average days from creation to completion across completed tasks. |
After those come one card per stage with the number of tasks currently in it. A task counts as completed when it has a completion date, and completed tasks are left out of the overdue and due-soon counts.
Workload
The Workload table lists each board member with their Role, the number of open tasks Assigned to them, how many of those are Overdue and how many are Due this week. People with the most open tasks come first. Completed tasks are not counted.
Use it to spot someone who is overloaded before work slips, then reassign cards on the board.
Cumulative flow
The Cumulative flow (last 30 days) chart is a stacked area chart with one color per stage. Each day shows how many tasks were in each stage at the end of that day. A band that keeps widening points to a bottleneck: work arrives in that stage faster than it leaves.
The chart is rebuilt from each task’s creation date and the stage moves recorded in the board’s activity. It looks at up to the most recent 5,000 activity entries, so on a very busy board the oldest days may be less accurate.

Export CSV
The Export CSV button next to the board picker downloads the overview as a CSV file with a metric column and a value column. It includes the cards above, the count for each stage and the count for each priority. The file name contains the board ID and the date.
Tips
- Check Overdue and Workload together in your weekly review.
- Pair the flow chart with WIP limits to confirm a limit is actually reducing pile-ups.
- Reports describe one board. For comparisons across boards, export each overview and combine them in a spreadsheet.
- The data is read live from your site. Nothing is sent elsewhere.
Developers can read the same figures from the REST API, which has overview, workload and flow report endpoints. See the REST API.
